Your car broke down on a dead stretch of highway. The only light for miles is a motel sign with half its letters burned out. The office is unlocked. No one's at the desk. Find a way out before whatever else is staying here finds you first.

ROUTE 9 is a short, contained horror game — no combat, no weapon, just a flashlight and your legs.

• Real detection, not a timer — the presence patrolling the motel notices you based on noise and light, not a scripted schedule. Sprint and it'll hear you from across the lot. Crouch and stay dark, and you can slip past it.
• Hide — closets throughout the motel let you break line of sight and wait it out.
• 3 difficulty levels — Easy, Normal, Hard, adjusting how fast it notices you and how aggressively it hunts.
• Reactive ambient score — a low synthesized drone underscores exploration, and tenses up the moment it starts actively hunting you.
• 15–25 minute sessions — built to be finished in one sitting, not another sprawling open-world horror game.
